HOW INTENSE IS THE WORKOUT?

You’d be surprised how hard you can push with the support and encouragement of your trainer.  Our winning exercise formula is brief, infrequent, and intense.  And remember, intense doesn’t mean “unsafe.” You can work at an incredibly high intensity of effort with little to no risk for injury.  You will be safe, and challenged to your greatest capacity.

HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Metabolically, your body will begin to change with the very first workout.  Visible external results vary depending on your own genetics and lifestyle conditions such as stress, sleep, and nutrition.

WHAT ABOUT CARDIO/FAT BURNING?

Your heart doesn’t work as hard when you have more efficient or stronger muscles.  The workout improves your metabolism, having more muscle burns calories.

OTHER WORKOUTS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK?

We encourage daily movement (walking, biking, yoga).  No other strength training is necessary, and we want you to participate in activities you enjoy. Having muscles will make all your other workouts and activities safer, more fun, and you will be better at them.

WHAT IF I HAVE PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS?

Our weight training protocol is one of the safest and most efficient forms of exercise, making it a great option for anyone recovering from injuries, illnesses, or long periods without exercise.  We start with where you are, and work from there.  This workout is tailored to you and your needs.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION?

We currently have two formats.  

  1. A 30 minute zoom introductory session, and a 30 minute in-studio workout.  

  2. A 60 minute in-person introductory session and workout.  

Both of these options are an opportunity for us to meet and learn about each other.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

There are countless benefits to this type of strength training such as increased muscle mass and bone density, cardio efficiency, fat adaptation, increased metabolism, and increased energy.  Our clients also experience increased performance during their favourite activities (like golf), better posture, and more confidence.

IS IT SAFE FOR OUT OF SHAPE OR OLDER PEOPLE?

Everyone benefits from this safe, low-impact form of exercise.  
1.If you are not currently exercising due to physical limitations, or simply just don’t like to workout, Evolved Health is still your safest, most effective choice.  
2. If you are already active, and looking to build more strength, your workouts with us will help you excel in all your favourite activities (everything from rock climbing to yoga).
